Reminders:

Junior ACT Day is tomorrow, March 11!

The CFHS State ACT Assessment is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, at CFHS from 8 AM - 12:30 PM.

Cardinal Academy Focus Days:

Mondays and Tuesdays:

9th and 10th grades: math in IXL
11th and 12th grades: ACT Prep in IXL

Wednesdays:

9th-12th grades: Student Success Plan day on Kuder.
Kuder is the program we use to help with Student Success Plans, a state requirement for every student. When students follow the instructions in the Google document they will access interest inventories that will provide career recommendations and a lot of information about education requirements and salary expectations for those careers. This is a very valuable resource for students. It even includes ACT prep and AP exam prep!

Thursdays and Fridays:

9th and 10th grades: English in IXL
11th and 12th grades: ACT Prep in IXL

Two weeks until Spring Break!

Spring Break is March 24-28! School will be dismissed on Friday, March 21, and resume on Monday, March 31.

Announcements:

Last week's attendance rate was 93%, a 1% increase from the week before! Let's meet our goal of 95% attendance this week! Check your attendance and grades on HAC!

May 11 | CFHS Baccalaureate | 8:00 AM
May 16 | CFHS Graduation | 8:00 PM

The CFHS Student Council is sponsoring a blood drive on Tuesday, March 18. If you want to donate blood, please see Mrs. H. James in room 115 to sign up.

Seniors: If you are interested in a college tour on SAU Magnolia’s campus on Monday, March 17, please see Mrs. Burks in the Counseling Center for a permission slip. The first 20 students who return the permission slip will be allowed to attend. If you plan to attend SAU but have not visited the campus, this will be a great opportunity to visit.

Come one, come all . . . serious math students! If you have earned a grade of B or better in all of your math classes and have at least a 3.0 GPA, Mu Alpha Theta is accepting applications for membership! All interested students should see Ms. Wooten or Ms. Barnes.

2025-26 CFHS Cheer & Dance Tryout Info:

If you're interested in participating in Varsity Cheer or Diamond Dancers during the 2025-26 school year, sign-up sheets are in the CFHS front office now until March 12!

There will be a mandatory Spirit Teams Parents Meeting on March 13 at 6:00 PM in the CFHS Little Theater for all who wish to try out for Cheer and Dance.

Varsity Cheer Clinic will be March 31 - April 4 from 4:00-5:30 in the Multipurpose Building. Cheer tryouts will be April 5 at 8:00 AM in the Multi.

Diamond Dancer Clinic will be April 7 - 11 from 4:00-5:30 in the Multipurpose Building. Diamond Dancer tryouts will be April 12 at 8:00 AM in the Multi.

Softball Rainout Rescheduled for March 31!

Lady Cardinal Softball's rainout game has been rescheduled for March 31. They will travel to Crossett for 5:00 PM V/JV games.

Attendance Matters!

At Camden Fairview, we believe that #AttendanceMatters and that absences are lost opportunities to learn in the classroom. Let's start the year off right - at school every day possible! Some absences are unavoidable, but it’s important that students are at school from bell-to-bell as often as possible.

Regular attendance is often an indicator of higher academic performance. Students who are at #SchoolEveryDay also do better academically in middle school and are more likely to graduate high school.
