Dear Camden Fairview Families:
Starting with the 2025-26 school year, we will follow Arkansas’s new Bell to Bell, No Cell Law (Act 122). This means students may not use personal electronic devices during the school day. This is a state law that applies to all public schools in Arkansas, not just a school rule. We’ll be sharing more info before school starts, but here’s what you need to know now:
📱 Devices Include:
- Cell phones
- Smartwatches
- Earbuds/headphones
- Tablets and personal laptops
❓When and Where:
- No electronic devices from the beginning of the school day to the last bell.
- Bell to Bell, No Cell applies to all areas of the school: classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, and restrooms.
📚 Why This Matters:
We’re committed to a learning environment where all students can focus and succeed. Thank you for helping us reinforce these expectations at home!
📢 Reminder for Cardinal Athletes & Families:
The Arkansas Activities Association’s mandatory dead period will be observed from June 23–July 6, 2025. During this time:
🏟️ All CFSD athletic facilities will be closed.
🚫 No practices, training, weightlifting, competitions, or travel involving coaches and student-athletes are allowed.
Summer workouts and facility access will resume Monday, July 7.
Cardinal student-athletes and coaches have been working hard this summer. Enjoy this well-deserved break!
#CardinalPride - We’re excited to share that Kristy Golden will be stepping into the role of Assistant Principal at Camden Fairview High School starting July 1!
A proud CFHS Class of 2014 graduate, Ms. Golden has five years of experience, a passion for student success, and a whole lot of #CardinalPride! She holds a Bachelor’s degree, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership — all from Southern Arkansas University. She’s previously served as a literacy teacher at CFMS.
“What excites me about my new role is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives every day. I'm looking forward to working alongside dedicated educators to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. I’m especially excited to help shape the school culture, support academic achievement, and build strong relationships with students, staff, and families. Camden Fairview has a proud tradition, and I’m honored to be part of a team committed to excellence and growth. My favorite way to support students is by being present, listening, and showing them that they are seen, heard, and valued. Whether it’s through a quick hallway check-in, celebrating their successes, or helping them navigate challenges, I believe strong relationships are the foundation for growth. When students know you believe in them, they start to believe in themselves - and that’s where the real change begins,” Ms. Golden said.
We’re proud to welcome Ms. Golden to this new leadership role and can’t wait to see the amazing things she’ll do at CFHS!
Congratulations, Ms. Golden!
