Senior Sunset: Class of 2026, come close out your senior year together at Senior Sunset!

Cardinal Football Parent Meetings Rescheduled: Cardinal Football parent meetings have been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 12, in the CFHS Commons.
  • 5:45 PM | Junior High (current 6th, 7th, & 8th grade)
  • 6:45 PM | Varsity (current 9th, 10th, & 11th grade)
Important information about spring ball, summer expectations, schedules, and the upcoming season will be shared. We look forward to seeing all Cardinal football families there.

Here's how students can participate in the next Food Truck Friday:
  • NO more than 2 tardies 
  • NO ISS or OSS
  • NO cool down days
  • NO hours to make up
  • NO more than 3 absences

Credit Recovery is taking place every Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5:30 PM. There will not be Saturday School this week.

Seniors who are making up hours will report to Room 906. Hours will not be made up in any other location unless prior approval from Ms. Bowie is received.

Counselors' Updates & Student Opportunities:

University of Arkansas Fleischer Scholars Program for Current Juniors. 
  • Current juniors who would be first-generation college students and interested in business may apply for the Fleischer Scholars Program.
  • The program is a FREE 5-day on-campus summer program at the University of Arkansas–Fayetteville, June 14–19, 2026.
  • It includes housing, meals, college prep, business experiences, and company visits. Transportation to and from campus is required.
  • See the Counseling Office for details.

The University of Arkansas School of Art is accepting applications for its seventh annual Summer Arts Workshop. This is a free, weeklong residential program designed for high school students focused on studio art, creative development, and college preparation. Students will live on campus from Sunday, June 14, through Friday, June 19, 2026, and participate in studio courses in School of Art facilities. See the Counseling Center for details.

Cardinal Athletics:

CFHS Varsity Baseball Punches Ticket to State:

Cardinal Baseball officially punched its ticket to the 4A State Tournament with a huge win over Warren in the 4A-4 Regional Tournament last week! On Thursday, they'll travel to DeQueen to take on the top-seeded Pulaski Academy Bruins at 3:00 PM. Good luck, Cards!

Join us on Thursday for a send-off at 10:00 AM in the CFHS front parking lot!

2026-27 Tryouts

Please remember that all participants must have a current physical and health history form completed and wear proper athletic attire to participate.

  • May 12: Varsity Girls Basketball (4:00–6:00 PM, CFHS Multi)

  • May 21: Varsity Tennis (4:00-5:00 PM, CFMS Tennis Courts)
