Dear CFHS Senior Families: |
|
As we begin preparations for graduation, we are excited to share important information to help your family plan for this special milestone. Below you will find key dates, expectations, and details for upcoming senior activities and the graduation ceremony. CardinalTV also needs your help with a special graduation day project!
Graduation is a meaningful and memorable event for our students and their families, and we appreciate your support in helping us ensure it is a respectful and enjoyable experience for all.
Please review the information carefully and reach out if you have any questions. |
|
CardinalTV is creating a special video featuring senior baby photos to display on our video scoreboard as families arrive for graduation! It's a fun way to celebrate our graduates and reflect on their journey.
We need your help! If you'd like your senior to be featured, please submit 1-5 baby photos (ages 0-5 work great). Send photos via email to alilly@cfcards.net by Wednesday, April 15. Please include your senior’s name in the email. |

The following information is provided to senior students and their parents/guardians so everyone will know important dates leading up to graduation, as well as expectations for the activities listed. Graduating seniors are reminded that graduation is an opportunity for parents, grandparents, friends, and relatives to recognize your achievement. Graduation and many graduation activities are ceremonial, dignified, and meaningful. We ask that you not do anything that draws attention away from the ceremony or the next person to receive his/her diploma. Each student deserves equal recognition, and every family enjoys hearing the name of their student called.
Please be respectful of all who attend and support all seniors who are participating in this important ceremony. Any devices, including noisemakers, are prohibited. Your respect to all those who attend is greatly appreciated.
This is a school-sponsored activity. All policies, practices, and procedures of the Camden Fairview School District and the Camden Fairview High School Code of Conduct will be followed. Questions regarding specific aspects of graduation should be directed to the following:

Students should look their best for the Senior Awards Assembly. Appropriate dress options include khakis; black, navy, or grey dress pants; collared, button-up, polo, or nice dress shirts. Female students may wear dresses. All dress must follow the requirements outlined in the student handbook.
Students may not wear jeans, shorts, or work boots to the Senior Awards Assembly. Students’ attire will be checked prior to the start of the Senior Awards Assembly. Students whose clothing does not meet the guidelines outlined above may be prohibited from participating. |

Baccalaureate is a ceremony to honor graduating seniors on the Sunday morning before graduation. Guest speakers will be in attendance, and a light breakfast will be served following Baccalaureate. Students will need to report to CFHS Cafeteria by 7:30 a.m. |
|
Students will be required to attend the mandatory senior meeting on April 1, 2026 during Cardinal Academy in the Little Theater. Failure to attend the meeting may result in the student not being eligible to participate in the ceremony. If there is a conflict with the meeting, please see Ms. Bowie prior to the date of the meeting.
Students will need to report to CFHS Cafeteria by 7:00 p.m. on May 15. Upon arriving at the cafeteria, students will be lined up in their rows until the ceremony begins.
In the event of rain on May 15, tickets for the commencement ceremony will be required for guests attending the event. Students will be distributed tickets at commencement practice and when they have successfully checked out of Camden Fairview High School. Each senior will be given 10 tickets. Every effort will be made to hold graduation at Cardinal Stadium. In the event rain causes graduation to be held in the gym, alerts will be sent through the district alert system, district social media, and local radio stations. Balloons will not be allowed in the gym to allow for unobstructed views for all guests.
Senior checkout involves turning in student materials unless arrangements have been made with a teacher, paying fines, turning in textbooks, and attending the mandatory senior meeting. Students may pay fines and turn in textbooks any time during the week of May 11-15. |
