Dear Camden Fairview Families:

Due to widespread power outages and storm damage across our district, classes will be canceled tomorrow, April 27. District events are also canceled and will be rescheduled. 

Our priority right now is ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and families. We are working to assess conditions at each campus and determine when it is safe to resume normal operations.

We hope all of our Cardinal families are safe and without significant damage following last night’s storms. Please take care, and know that we are thinking of you.

Please keep in mind the following safety reminders from Camden Fire Department:

• Treat all downed utility lines as live electrical lines unless directly informed otherwise by a utility representative.
• Use caution when clearing downed trees or limbs, and make sure no utility lines are entangled in branches.
• If using a portable generator, never use it indoors. Place it outside in a well-ventilated area. Carbon monoxide is an odorless gas that can be deadly, even in small amounts.

CFSD Employees: Please check your CFSD email for additional information regarding reporting expectations for those who will be part of clean-up efforts and preparing our campuses for reopening.
