Reminder: Backpack Policy Update for Grades 6–12

Beginning November 10, 2025, all CFHS and CFMS students will be required to use clear or mesh backpacks. This update is designed to help keep our campuses safe and ensure an efficient backpack check-in process each morning.

To support families, CFSD will provide one clear or mesh backpack to every CFHS and CFMS student for the 2025–26 school year. Families may also choose to purchase a clear or mesh backpack of their choice instead of using the district-provided backpack.

Students may also carry small purses, makeup bags, or athletic bags, but these are also subject to daily bag checks. Rolling backpacks are not allowed due to space and safety concerns.

FES, Ivory Intermediate, and ECEC students will not be required to have clear or mesh backpacks at this time.

Camden Fairview will continue enforcing the clear bag policy at all extracurricular and athletic events to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Thank you for your support as we work together to keep #EveryCardinalEveryDay safe!
