Capturing Kids' Hearts Mid-Year Survey
|
At CFHS, we are working daily to implement Capturing Kids' Hearts to strengthen the relationships between our educators, students, and staff. Strong, healthy relationships at school give us the right foundation to support students and their learning. We need your input to see where we're succeeding and where we need to work harder.
Please complete our mid-year Capturing Kids' Heart Survey:

Last week’s attendance rate was 91%. That’s 4% less than our weekly goal. The Seniors and Freshmen led the way with 92%, the Sophomores were next with 91%, and the Juniors came in last with 89% last week.
2nd Quarter Progress Reports go out on Thursday, November 21.
Juniors, student nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Arkansas Governor’s School (AGS). The AGS will be held at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas, from Sunday, July 6, to Saturday, August 2, 2025. The AGS is a four-week summer residential program for rising high school seniors.
Happy American Educator Week! The National Education Association and other organizations observe American Educator Week on the week before Thanksgiving break to promote the importance of public education across America. Each day recognizes different educators such as teachers, support staff, administrators, faculty, and parents in appreciation for all they do for public education. Be sure to thank an educator each day this week whether by note or in person, no matter what building they are in.

Important reminders for all CFSD events
|
All students are expected to be on their best behavior and follow all school policies, including the dress code, while attending school events. Students will be banned from after school activities if they are involved in any fights, disrespectful towards administration or any school personnel, or if any prohibited items are found on them or in their vehicles during an event.
6-12 grade students will have 20 minutes after school activities end to leave campus. Students should notify parents ahead of time to let them know what time the activity will end. Announcements are made prior to the activity ending to remind students to contact parents.
We appreciate your support and look forward to cheering on all Cardinal student-athletes together!

At Camden Fairview, we believe that #AttendanceMatters and that absences are lost opportunities to learn in the classroom. Let's start the year off right - at school every day possible! Some absences are unavoidable, but it’s important that students are at school from bell-to-bell as often as possible.
Regular attendance is often an indicator of higher academic performance. Students who are at #SchoolEveryDay also do better academically in middle school and are more likely to graduate high school.
