This week, we announced our Cardinal ATLAS All Stars, students who earned the highest ATLAS Summative Assessment score in their grade in a content area. We also began distributing Cardinal ATLAS All Access Passes to students who achieved a Level 4 in at least one content area and to our All Stars.

These passes give students free admission to CFSD-hosted regular-season athletic events and eligible school-sponsored activities this school year. It was especially exciting to see some of our academic All Stars at Friday night’s Cardinal football win!

We’re proud of these students’ hard work and grateful to the families and educators cheering them on.

Families, community groups, and organizations are invited to participate in the “Friday Night Frights” Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 16, at 3:00 PM. The parade begins at First Baptist Church. Pick up an entry form at CFHS and register with Ms. Stivers or Mrs. Wooten by the end of the day Wednesday, October 14. 

An entry form must be on file to participate. The fee is $10 per car or truck and $5 per motorcycle or ATV; proceeds will help purchase materials for next year’s student floats. For details, call CFHS at 870-837-1300 during school hours.

CFMS students will take ATLAS interim assessments Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2. Please help your student arrive at school on time, well rested, and ready to do their best each day. We appreciate your support!

Cardinal Families, a letter from the Arkansas Department of Education about your child’s Spring 2026 ATLAS results will be sent home with students soon. You can view the results at https://atlasportal.org/families.html using your child’s Unique Access Code, legal first name, and date of birth. Their access code are the same as last year and will be included with the letter.

We encourage you to review the results and talk with your child’s teacher about their progress and how you can continue to support your child's learning. We appreciate your partnership.

Softball tryouts will be held Wednesday, October 7, from 3:00–5:00 PM at the CFHS Multipurpose Building. Students should bring a glove, wear athletic attire, and wear tennis shoes or cleats.

🎟️ Admission: Cardinal Athletics is teaming up with Hudl to offer fans a convenient new online ticket option. General admission is $6. Online and card purchases include applicable service and card-processing fees. Cash will continue to be accepted. CFSD employees receive free admission with their district ID badge.

ℹ️ Clear Bag Policy: Only approved clear bags and clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are permitted. Backpacks, purses, coolers, fanny packs, cinch bags, camera bags, computer bags, and other oversized bags are prohibited. View the full Clear Bag Policy for details.

🚫Food and Drinks: No outside food or drinks, including tumblers, are permitted.

🚫 Pets: Only registered service animals are allowed.

👥 Fan Conduct: Students in grades K–5 must be supervised by an adult at all times. All home and visiting students are expected to behave appropriately. Adults and students may be removed for fighting, disrespectful behavior, or possession of prohibited items. Students must be picked up within 20 minutes after the event ends.
