Participants will experience exciting activities and guest speaker from various health professions. This session is free to students and all supplies will be provided for activities. Interested students may sign up with counselors or science teachers before September 15, 2026.

Interested in a Career in Emergency Services? Students ages 16–20 can apply for ProMed’s Paramedic/EMT Exploring Post. Participants receive hands-on, real-world training in CPR, emergency response, diagnostics and more while exploring potential careers in emergency medical services. Only two spots remain! Meetings are held every other Tuesday from 6–9 p.m. at 1152 Strong Highway in El Dorado. Visit BeAScout.org to apply.

Applications are open for U.S. Senator John Boozman's 2026-2027 Congressional Youth Cabinet. This nonpartisan initiative for high school juniors teaches students about the legislative process and ways citizens can get involved. The Cabinet needs students with a variety of talents, personalities, and backgrounds to make this a meaningful experience for everyone. Applicants must be current high school juniors for the 2026-2027 school year and enrolled in school in Arkansas. The deadline to apply is September 18, 2026. Please apply in the Counseling Center.
