From the Principal's Desk:

Dear CFHS Students and Families:

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Camden Fairview High School! We are excited to begin another year of preparing our students for success in school, in their future careers, and in life.

High school offers students opportunities to challenge themselves academically, explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and prepare for the next stage of their lives. Our faculty and staff are committed to supporting every student while maintaining high expectations for attendance, behavior, academic achievement, and personal responsibility.

Families remain an essential part of student success, even as students become more independent. We encourage you to stay connected through ParentSquare, monitor your student’s progress, and communicate with our teachers and administrators whenever support is needed.

Whether your student is beginning their freshman year or preparing for graduation, we look forward to helping them make the most of every opportunity at CFHS. Together, we can make this an outstanding year for Cardinal Nation.

Sincerely,

Rodney Frazier
Principal, Camden Fairview High School

Counselors' Updates & Student Opportunities:

Community Service Requirement

Beginning with the Class of 2027, all Arkansas students in grades 9 through 12 must complete a minimum of 75 community service hours before graduation.

This initiative is designed to support student growth both academically and socially by helping them:
  • Develop responsibility, leadership, and compassion
  • Build real-world experience through community involvement
  • Strengthen resumes for colleges, scholarships, and job opportunities
  • Connect more deeply with our school and local community

Who Is Affected?
All CFHS students are responsible for meeting this requirement in order to graduate.

What Counts as Community Service?
To qualify, community service must be unpaid, voluntary, and benefit others outside of the student’s household. Examples include:
  • Volunteering at churches, nursing homes, food banks, shelters, or school events
  • Tutoring, peer mentoring, assisting teachers or school staff
  • Participating in school beautification projects or cleanup efforts
  • Helping at community events, non-profits, or youth programs
All services must be documented and verified by a parent, supervisor or organization representative to be officially counted.

Student Access Process
Students will submit their community service hours for approval by:
  1. Going to AR Schools App
  2. Log in with their school Google account.
  3. At the top of the page, click, 'CSL'.
  4. Then click, 'Student Hours'.
  5. Then click 'Add New' and provide all the required information.
  6. Students will need the community organization with whom they completed the project and contact information for the adult with whom they communicated.

Support System in Place
To help every student succeed, Camden Fairview is establishing a Community Service Support Team, made up of school staff assigned by grade level. This team will:
  • Help identify service opportunities at school and in the community
  • Track your student’s progress throughout the year
  • Communicate opportunities and updates to parents regularly
  • Work with teachers to create service opportunities in the classroom
A Community Service Hours Manager is responsible for logging and verifying all submitted hours. Contact information for the support team will be shared once the school year begins.

How You Can Help:
  • Encourage your child to begin earning hours now – don’t wait until senior year!
  • Make sure your child turns in proper verification of completed service
  • Let us know about community opportunities your child can be involved in
  • Review service hour updates sent home each month

We are committed to helping every student meet this goal and appreciate your partnership along the way.
