Seniors: Wednesday, April 1, is the mandatory Graduation Ceremony Information Assembly! All seniors are required to attend during Cardinal Academy in the Little Theater. The Class of 2026 Senior Information packet will also be shared this week!
The 11th grade ACT make-up test will be given on Tuesday, April 7, in Room 307. The test will be 1st-4th period.
Prom Outside Guest Forms are now available in the front office, Mrs. Roark's room, and online here. This form must be completed if a CFHS student plans to bring a guest to CFHS Prom who does not currently attend CFHS. Outside guests must be approved before their prom ticket is purchased. The deadline to turn in forms to Mrs. Roark is Friday, April 10.
On Monday, March 30, at 5:30 PM, there will be a show team interest meeting at the CFHS Agri classroom/shop. This meeting is for students interested in showing livestock (rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats, and pigs). Any student unable to attend the meeting may visit with Mrs. Reynolds or Ms Tippitt.
Credit Recovery will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library from 3:30-5:30 PM. All school rules will apply, including the use of Yondr Pouches for phones. There will be no Saturday School this Saturday.
The CKH Leadworthy Word of the month is Courage. Courage means choosing to do what is right - even when it’s uncomfortable, uncertain, or unpopular. Today, we challenge you to show courage by speaking respectfully, trying something new, or standing up for yourself or someone else.

Project H.E.A.R.T. (Health, Education, Advocacy, Reflection, Technology) is a FREE mini-medical camp sponsored by NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine-Arkansas. Project H.E.A.R.T. engages with high school students going into 11th or 12th grade for the 2026-2027 year. Dates and locations for this year’s Project H.E.A.R.T. are June 3-6 in Arkadelphia at Henderson State University and June 15-18 in Jonesboro at Arkansas State University & NYITCOM. Students who have an interest in careers in the medical field, what resources are available to support their journey, and experiencing an immersive, summer program should apply. The program is an overnight, residential camp. Program acceptance covers housing, food, and all activity fees; students are responsible for transportation to and from camp at identified times Students must submit their completed application by Friday, April 10, 2026. Please see your counselor for more information.
2026 UAMS College of Pharmacy Summer Camp:
- Opportunity for 10th–12th students interested in healthcare careers to learn more about the pharmacy profession and how it plays a vital role in the lives of people in their families and community. Graduating Seniors in the Class of 2026 are encouraged to apply.
- June 1-3 from 9AM-3PM daily at UAMS College of Pharmacy - Little Rock Campus. Housing is not available, and campers will be responsible for daily commute.
- Cost: $150 per camper. Covers lab materials, activity supplies, meals, and camp t-shirt

University of Arkansas Fleischer Scholars Program for Current Juniors.
- Current juniors who would be first-generation college students and interested in business may apply for the Fleischer Scholars Program.
- The program is a FREE 5-day on-campus summer program at the University of Arkansas–Fayetteville, June 14–19, 2026.
- It includes housing, meals, college prep, business experiences, and company visits. Transportation to and from campus is required.

The University of Arkansas School of Art is accepting applications for its seventh annual Summer Arts Workshop. This is a free, weeklong residential program designed for high school students focused on studio art, creative development, and college preparation. Students will live on campus from Sunday, June 14, through Friday, June 19, 2026, and participate in studio courses in School of Art facilities. See the Counseling Center for details.
