This Week at CFHS:

This Week is a 1-Hour Early Out Wednesday!
On Wednesday, all Camden Fairview schools will dismiss one hour early to allow teachers additional time for professional development and collaboration.

No School on Monday, January 19.
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all Camden Fairview School District campuses will be closed on Monday, January 19. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 20.

Important January Dates:
  • January 14 & 28: Early Out Wednesdays
  • January 19: No School (MLK Day)
  • January 26: 100th Day of School

CFHS Band Members Earn All-Region Honors

Our Camden Fairview High School band students are celebrating big success after earning spots in the Senior High All-Region Band!

All-State Qualifiers and All-Region Honorees:
Khloe Green, Zach Moorehead, Trinity Henry, and Nylah Holliman

All-Region Honorees:
Aubree Johnson, Trinity Robinson, Makaylah Murray, Nickaya Haynie, A’Miyah Nelson, Kennedy Pennywell, Jaiden Ferguson, Andrew Hammock, Jayden Henderson, Darin Frazier Jr., and Malik Alexander

We’re proud of these students for their hard work, discipline, and musical excellence. Way to represent Camden Fairview!

Announcements:

CFHS Student Council Blood Drive: January 13 | CFHS Little Theater. Must be 16 in order to donate. Sign up with Mrs. H. James between classes.  

PEARLS meeting: Friday during Cardinal Academy in the Commons Area. Members will check in with their Cardinal Academy teacher before coming to the meeting.
 

Counselors' Updates & Student Opportunities:

2026 UAMS College of Pharmacy Summer Camp:
  •  Opportunity for 10th–12th students interested in healthcare careers to learn more about the pharmacy profession and how it plays a vital role in the lives of people in their families and community. Graduating Seniors in the Class of 2026 are encouraged to apply.
  • June 1-3 from 9AM-3PM daily at UAMS College of Pharmacy - Little Rock Campus. Housing is not available, and campers will be responsible for daily commute.
  • Cost: $150 per camper. Covers lab materials, activity supplies, meals, and camp t-shirt
  • Registration Deadline: Friday, May 8. Use the following link for more information and to register: 2026 UAMS College of Pharmacy Summer Camp Registration

ACT Test Prep. 
  • ACT test prep is set for Friday, January 30, 2026, from 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at South Central Service Cooperative.
  • Sign up in the Counseling Center.

University of Arkansas Fleischer Scholars Program for Current Juniors. 
  • Current juniors who would be first-generation college students and interested in business may apply for the Fleischer Scholars Program.
  • The program is a FREE 5-day on-campus summer program at the University of Arkansas–Fayetteville, June 14–19, 2026.
  • It includes housing, meals, college prep, business experiences, and company visits. Transportation to and from campus is required.
  • See the Counseling Office for details.

Cardinal Athletics:

Cardinal Shooting Sports Parents Meeting: Tuesday, January 13 | 6PM | CFMS Library

Students who are interested in participating in Cardinal Shooting Sports this season must attend a mandatory parents/students meeting on Tuesday, January 13. The meeting will be at 6PM in the CFMS Library. Students will need to bring their Hunter Education Card.

Event Reminders:

  • Admission is $6 for all home athletic events.

  • Athletic Passes are available for sale at Central Office (625 Clifton Street). All CFSD employees have free entry with their district ID badge.

  • Clear Bag Policy. A clear bag policy is in effect at all CFSD athletic venues to help keep events safe and enjoyable for everyone. For more information, view the full CLEAR BAG POLICY.
